Movement Capabilities

Individual Capability

This section provides further information about the individual capability screen.

The user may select a particular element, pass the cursor over the relevant button and click once to access the information.

Introduction Screen

On entering this section the introduction will automatically play and a voice-over will accompany the key points as they are shown on screen.

There are options to ‘Replay’, obtain ‘More information’, ‘Print’ or ‘Close’.

Tasks Screen

On entering this section the menu will appear at the top of the screen. The user can select 'All' to view all the tasks on screen at one time or select individual numbers to view a task whilst observing the video.

There are also buttons to ‘Print’ or ‘Close’.

Analysis Grid Screen

On entering this section the menu will appear on the left of the screen. Selecting 'Whole Grid' shows the grid in full screen format or select individual sub-headings to read descriptors of specific levels of motor pattern and body parts.

There are buttons to return to the ‘Menu’, ‘Print’ or ‘Close’.

Now Make A Difference - Activities & Hotspots Screen

On entering this section the 'Now Make A Difference' activities will be displayed in two or three columns. Clicking 'Hotspots' takes the user to this section. Passing the cursor over the yellow information icons shows key technical points.

There are buttons to ‘Print’ or ‘Close’.

Task, Video and Grid

After listening to the introduction, users are encouraged to select a task, choose the relevant video and use the analysis grid to aid them in their observations.

You can click on ' video' from the navigation menu to see a sample video taken directly from the CD-ROM.
